Randy Haynes, a Morris Haynes partner, is working on a case where our client, a registered nurse, lost her left arm from the shoulder down in an accident caused by a tractor-trailer on the new Highway 275 in Talladega. The loss of her left arm will dramatically affect her ability both to teach nursing and to perform clinical nursing. In spite of this tragic loss, our client is seeking to return to her job as a nursing instructor as soon as possible. The accident was solely the fault of the tractor-trailer driver. The company he worked for has already had three prior accidents in the past 18 months. The case is pending in Jefferson County.
