Morris Haynes recently celebrated National First Responders Day by hosting a grill out luncheon honoring local law enforcement, firefighters, EMTS, paramedics, 9/11 operators and other public safety officials. In 2017, Congress designated October 28 as National First Responders Day. The day celebrates first responders who serve their communities and honors fallen first responders.
Morris Haynes Investigators Richard Lucas and Marcus Osborne fired up the grills and staff assisted in serving over 150 plates to local first responders. Lucas and Osborne both served the community as law enforcement, with ties to both the Alexander City Police Department and the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department along with other law enforcement and public safety officials.
Founding partner Randy Haynes emphasized the sacrifices first responders make in order to serve their community. “They sacrifice a lot, from both a safety and time standpoint. We just wanted to show appreciation for what they do.” Partner Jeremy Knowles stressed the important role first responders play during a crisis. “First responders often make the difference between life and death in emergency situations. We all owe them a debt of gratitude.”
At Morris Haynes, we work closely with first responders to investigate claims and pursue justice for our clients. We know that our work would not be possible without local law enforcement, firefighters, EMTS, paramedics, 9/11 operators and other public safety officials that make a critical difference in dire situations.
